The Waltons meet the Osbournes

Oh my gosh! What a crazy past two days! Let's just say the stuff has hit the fan. I titled this one The Waltons meet the Osbournes because that is pretty much the difference between the two sides of my family. One side of the family would be the Waltons because they are so down home country, nice to everyone, supportive of everyone, don't miscommunicate or mistreat others, etc. The other side is the Osbournes because it seems that all they know how to do is yell and scream at each other, berate each other, misinterpret words that are spoken or unspoken, harp on deeds done in the past that were long forgiven yet still thrown back at each other in anger, putting words in others mouths, etc. I won't go into details, but the picture above shows what I felt yesterday. That people should stop saying things they shouldn't say. The picture below shows how I felt today after I had thought more about things that happened and were said yesterday. I was frustrated with my kids all day and with the whole situation. I'm not going to air dirty laundry because honestly what's the point. Let's just say I am appalled that grown people would behave like petty junior high children in a stupid fight. I am hurt by things that have been said and done to loved ones, including myself. I am shocked by actions of loved ones. And I am worried that things may not ever get resolved or be the same. Ok, that's all I'm going to say.
