Figuring this out

Well, I would have had something posted yesterday but my lovely computer is so slow that I finally just gave up and waited until I came up here to visit my mom and friends. So, here is the run down for yesterday and today.

January 4, 2008

More of the same, I went to school for a little while to get things together before we go back Tuesday. Then, it was off to Mt. Juliet to have lunch with my wonderful friend and OPA little sister, Nicki. It was great to get to catch up with her. We don't get to see each other enough. I think it's so interesting to know someone and see how much they have grown as a person over the time you know them. The picture for the day was taken with my cell phone as I was driving. (I know, really safe) But there was just something about the wonderful site I see while I drive that makes me happy. The leis hanging from the mirror remind me of my friend Stacy, who I definitely don't see enough of, but think of often. You see my favorite accessory: my sunglasses. You can barely see the tip of a car freshener that is a puppy paw print, which of course reminds me of my babies. And lastly, if you look closely you'll see a wooden cross that a sweet old man gave me to protect me and keep me safe.

Today, flew by! I finally tackled cleaning my room up. Oh my gosh, it was such a mess. I have just been throwing everything on the floor and it was piled up. I finally got it all put up. It only took me about 3 hours to get everything in order. That would be the perfectionist in me. Then it was off on another road trip to Smyrna to visit my two best friends there, Heidi and Laura. They are seriously like sisters to me. We had dinner at Heidi's. I was able to catch up with them on things going on, and then we did something I had never done before. We played the Wii. I had never played but I had a BLAST!!! I'm really good at the bowling. Now I want one, especially since you can get Guitar Hero with one and I love Guitar Hero. So, that helped me accomplish my goal of doing or trying something new each week. So, if you have a Wii or Guitar Hero call me so we can hang out and I can play my new favorite games.
