Victory and my just reward

Two pictures for today. First picture is Mom and her new baby Maggie. I love this picture because it shows what we were doing at 2:30 this morning. Just hanging out at the apartment, surfing the internet and loving on dogs. Even though its a dog, it reminds me of how much my mom loves and cares for me and my sis by the way she holds her. So sweet.

Second picture shows what my victory and reward are. I got my pictures from Wal-mart. I sucked it up and got a copyright letter so they would give me the pictures. Of course, when I went to get them they said that they couldn't find them and that I would have to resend them. But perseverance pays off and I went back to get her to put it in writing that I wouldn't have to pay and voila! she found the pictures!

My reward to myself for being such an awesome person and because if I stay with dial-up internet I'm going to poke my eyeballs out is......a wireless internet USB modem. That's what the little black box looking thing is. The best part is, it was basically free! With my mail in rebate for it, I will only have had to pay $4 in tax. Yay for me!

I really like doing this. It kind of makes me look at life differently because I look at the day trying to figure out a picture that will represent a memory from the day. You should really try it! It's sort of therapeutic and a great reflective tool. Plus, I like to see what kind of pictures others take.

Back to work tomorrow. Boo! But at least I'll have something to do!
