Dog days of winter

Today was COLD! I hate the cold. Yes, you get to dress up in cute toboggans, scarves, and sweaters, but to actually feel the bitter cold is not fun! My wonderful sis came for the day, which is always fun. She took the pic of me and Sydni on the kitchen floor just before we left to go eat lunch at Granny's. Sydni had been running outside for about 4 hours and was exhausted. I really like this picture of us. She's gotten really good at looking at the camera. She even started posing after this pic was taken. She's so silly.

Since it was so cold, there wasn't much to do. I got groceries this morning, we watched birds from the kitchen window, ate lunch at Granny's, petted the calves, hung out at the house, and watched football games. I am still upset Green Bay didn't win! I also got some more school work done. Tomorrow I plan on going to school to run some copies and get things set up for the week.
