I know, I know! I'm just going to quit telling you I'll update more often. Here are some pictures I've taken over the past 2 weeks or so. I don't remember dates just reasons. I take a lot more pictures, but a lot of them have been of my kids/students, so I will not ever post them on here. Enjoy!
I had to take a half day off last week to go to the dentist. I just so happened to have about 30 minutes to kill so I went to the only place I knew to go to in Nashville while I waited. Target. I found these super cute candles there and just HAD to get them. I mean, they are adorable and smell really good too. I think the acorn is my favorite, but don't tell the pumpkin.
Sophie is such a spoiled little girl. She likes to be wherever my dad is, and one day he decided to lay in the hammock, so she did too. Well, she has her own pillow (which my dad gave her) and she just HAD to lay on the pillow in the hammock. She's such a poser!
What a little princess! I just love her to pieces. She is the closest to a baby I will probably ever get to having.
So the story with this is that I came home one day and noticed that these plants were looking horrible. I mean they were all dead. So I got the nippers out and cut off all the dead buds. I kid you not, it was like 3 days and we had this! It was crazy!
My dad has been off all week digging ginseng. Now, if you know what the plant looks like and have the time to dig it, it can be quite a lucrative expedition. I think I heard it's like $600 a pound for the stuff. Anyways, this is the biggest root he has dug this year. It's 13 1/2 inches long!!! Definitely the biggest one I've ever seen.
I mean! What can you say? It's a Miss Piggy cookie jar that was found at the wonderful world of junk (aka Goodwill). Can we say Dirty Christmas gift? I'm still debating whether I really wanna keep it or not, but I'm telling people it's for Dirty Christmas for now.
I've started going to church. I love it! It's the perfect church for me and I'm so happy to be going there. After church, I always go to Granny's for Sunday dinner. It's tradition. I beat them all there one Sunday, so I sat in the swing outside where my Granddaddy used to sit. The leaves were falling, the wind was blowing, it felt wonderful. And Jack was just chilling in the yard waiting on everyone to get there.
Little Miss Ellie. I love her!
Little Miss Keely Bug. Keri and I went to her birthday party and it was so fun! She is such a cutie. I can't believe she is a year old. She was loving on some coke!
Went out to the Old Spagetti Factory with my OPA girls (and some of their dates). We had hat day at school to help raise money for a student who has leukemia. I think it's fun!
My big sister Holly! I love her! She's the best!
