Sunday, April 13. The day that should be a national holiday. The day of my birth. This is the woman who gave me life. My mommy. I love her bunches and bunches and bunches. This was really a great birthday. I've come to realize as you get older the things that you want and that mean the most to you on your birthday has changed. There's nothing materialistic that I want nowadays. The only things I want are to just be with my family and friends and talk to them around my birthday. Relationships mean more to me than money or gifts. Thoughtful gestures make me happy. People who do things for me without me even asking or thinking about it. My granny made my favorite foods and my favorite cake for me for lunch today. I love her. She is one of the most thoughtful people in the world. Always doing for others. She is a great role model. My mom got me John Deere stuff for my future kitchen because she knows I love it and that is something I want one day. I love her too. She is one of the most thoughtful people in the world. My dad got me a hammock. Something I've been wanting forever. Since it's been warming up I've been silently wishing for one but never thought anything about it. He also picked me some more Sweet Williams. A big bunch of them. It's nice to know there are some men out there who do listen (sometimes anyways). My sister spent time with me, bought me dinner and an ice cream cone, gave me the most hilarious card ever, and is my very bestest friend in the whole wide world. I got lots of texts and comments wishing me happy birthday from the best friends a girl could have. I spent time with almost all of my bestest friends this weekend and had a blast. I'm very blessed and very happy. I look forward to what the next 365 days hold for me and all of those who are close to me. Thanks for a great birthday!
