Wednesday, April 23. Just loving the outdoors and trying new things with my camera. I love this picture! I've been trying to get some cool shots. I love to pick these things and blow them all over the place. Thursday, April 24. Stressful day at school with one of my students, but I totally looked forward all day to BON JOVI AND DAUGHTRY!!!! It was just about the best concert I've ever been too. We had weirdo's all around us, but I could see my men on stage. Yummy!!!! Just check out the pic below of Jon himself!!!
Friday, April 25. I went with Keri to get our Country Music Half Marathon stuff and then just spent the day hanging out with her. I miss her! We don't hang out as much as I wish we could. I also got to hang out with 2 of my bestest friends. We had a super yummy dinner made by the great chefs Laura and Chris Brandon. I mean it was DELICIOUS!!! Then it was time for some games, otherwise known as my first introduction to the coolest game ever, Rock Band. As you can see we were quite the "Rock Band." I couldn't play the drums to save my life, but Laura and Brent sure could. If you could see Laura play just one time you would laugh the rest of your life. She is soooo good at it and really gets into it throwing her hair and beating the fire out of the little pads. The only thing I was good as was the guitar because I didn't know most of the words to any of the songs and I couldn't play drums to save my life!

Saturday, April 26. My sister ran the half marathon today. I am so proud of her! She is such an inspiration and motivator to get me off my rear end and try something like this. She ran it in 2:07!My three favorite people in the whole world. Mom, Keri, Daddy. I love them!

Saturday night we went out to celebrate Julie's birthday. We took some fun pictures of the evening but I'm only posting a couple. This one was of a candle at the restaurant we ate at. We were fascinated by the Biblical portraits on them, so I tried something different with angles.

Ok, It won't let me put the picture I took on Monday up but it was a picture of some birds that were sitting in the tops of trees. I took the picture because my dad has become obsessed with bird feeders and bird watching and so now our house is surrounded by them 24/7. So, I'm not going to get it posted but these two pics really tell about something I did today. Tuesday, April 22. So, I decided to shear a sheep today. Ok, not really, but I decided to give Sophie a trim which turned into a shearing. It looks like poo cause her hair is so curly and it can't look even, but she just sat there so nicely and let me cut it. I think she felt relieved that about 3 inches of hair was cut off of her body EVERYWHERE. I had hair all over me, hair all over the yard. The birds will love us now.

Not the best haircut in the world, but it works. I never said I was a professional. I think she probably feels cooler and I feel like she doesn't look as scruffy AS before. But she is still cuddly. I love her and she "woofs" me too.

Wednesday, April 16. The view from my hammock. Of course when I got home I headed straight to my hammock to lounge out. I finished the book I was reading, which turned out to be not as good as it seemed to start out as. So I just enjoyed the view. You know I have a thing about tree tops.
Thursday, April 17. Both of these pics are from Thursday. I like taking pics of the flowers. The lilac bush is blooming and smells so wonderful. It's even attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.
We have to irises that are growing in one of our flower beds. It's been cool watching it grow and bloom. I thought this pic turned out pretty cool.

Friday, April 18. The next 3 pics are from my big dentist adventure. To explain, you can see my tooth that looks different. Apparently, when I had braces and my teeth moved, it traumatized that one particular tooth so the root decided it would die and start to deteriorate. It was a "ghost tooth" because when you looked at the x-rays there was nothing there. They were amazed that it was even still in my mouth. So long tooth!
This was the tooth after they pulled it. See what I mean! What you saw in the previous pic is basically what was there. Of course I told them I wanted to keep it because I thought it was cool. And I'm hoping the tooth fairy will drop a wad of cash under my pillow to take care of all this work I've had done.

So, after they pulled it they put a tooth implant in. Now, a tooth implant is basically a screw that goes into the jaw and has a little pin sticking out that they put a crown on. Of course, the implant has to wait about 3 months for the bone to grow around it before I can have a permanent crown put on, so for now I have a temporary. I think it looks hideous, but at least I know my tooth isn't going to fall out at any moment leaving me looking like Jed Clampet with a missing tooth. Believe me, I've been in some pain since all this. I don't want to hear any jokes about me literally being "screwed up in the head" haha. There I said it, so now you can't. hehe.

Saturday, April 19. I went to school and cleaned today because we are having a big inspection thingy coming in two weeks. Anyways, I got a lot done and feel good about my room now, but it really wore me out for some reason. (Probably cause I'm still getting over my whole tooth thing) so I came home and wound up sleeping for four hours. When I finally got up and I went out on the porch for a few minutes while Sophie pottied and this hummingbird landed on a branch near the house. It's not as clear as I wished but at least I was able to capture it.

Sunday, April 20. My aunt Jessie called me the other day to wish me a belated birthday and after talking for about an hour, she invited me to go to the playoff game today. It was fun, we lost, but it was still cool. I love being in a place where everyone is so into a game and cheering and yelling. It was really cool to get to hang out with her and Andy too cause it's been way to long since I've been able to. Doesn't she look a lot like my mom. I wonder why people always think they are twins.

The view of the game. We lost but it was cool to see all the towels twirling. This lady sat in front of us. They were Red Wings fans, but I had to take a picture of the she-mullet. She totally rocked it. But the best part, was that I wasn't the first person to take a picture of it. The people beside us were taking pics of her too. I love mullets.

Of course when I got home from the game, I went outside to try to find some cool pics and my sweet baby decided she wanted to pose. I mean, she actually was sitting there staring at me for me to take this picture. She's such a cutie pie!
Relaxing in my hammock. Have I mentioned how much I love that thing?Beautiful sunset. I love nature. Good night.

I got a hammock for my birthday. Well, you knew that cause I told you on Sunday. Today we put it up and I'm so happy!!!! I love it, I love it, I love it! I'll be spending most afternoons and weekends laying it that thing just relaxing and reading and enjoying life. I love it!!!!!

By the way, I don't know if I told you this story yesterday but every time one of the girls on the 2nd grade team has a birthday we get a cake and have a little celebration during our activity time. So yesterday during our little 3o minute break, I was called down to one of their rooms. As I start to get close they tell me to make my grand entrance. You know I'm not shy so I go in backwards shaking my booty and dancing like nobody's business. I knew there would be 5 people in the room so when I got in I turned around and I just perepherally saw that there were 5 people in there. Then I really looked at their faces and one of the 5 was our assistant principal who is a male and who I have known since I was in elementary school myself. Needless to say, my face turned all shades of red and apparently the look on my face was priceless. You know I speak with my face. He thought it was hilarious and we have laughed about it since yesterday. And of course the whole school now knows so they keep saying stuff. We have had a huge laugh about it. Hope you enjoyed it.

I love my dogs! Today was Sydni's birthday. She's four now. Or I guess 28 in dog years, which makes her older than me. haha. I love them! Sydni is so good to Sophie and sweet, but she sure can throw a tantrum too. When Sydni was chewing on her bone Sophie was laying right there beside her just waiting. When Sophie got the chance, she took one of the pieces and hopped up in the swing with my dad. Sydni threw such a fit whining and barking and going over to Sophie to try to get it back. I eventually wound up having to get it out of Sophie's mouth and give it to Sydni because really Sophie is kinda dumb when it comes to eating the bones and she doesn't chew it. I just thought the top shot was hilarious of Sophie with that face she made. Have a great day!

April 12. Daniel signing autographs. This kids were so cute. They kept yelling his name for him to come over and meet them and sign their papers. So cute!
Keri and D before the race.
D and his favority sis-in-law, yours truly, moi!
Sunday, April 13. The day that should be a national holiday. The day of my birth. This is the woman who gave me life. My mommy. I love her bunches and bunches and bunches. This was really a great birthday. I've come to realize as you get older the things that you want and that mean the most to you on your birthday has changed. There's nothing materialistic that I want nowadays. The only things I want are to just be with my family and friends and talk to them around my birthday. Relationships mean more to me than money or gifts. Thoughtful gestures make me happy. People who do things for me without me even asking or thinking about it. My granny made my favorite foods and my favorite cake for me for lunch today. I love her. She is one of the most thoughtful people in the world. Always doing for others. She is a great role model. My mom got me John Deere stuff for my future kitchen because she knows I love it and that is something I want one day. I love her too. She is one of the most thoughtful people in the world. My dad got me a hammock. Something I've been wanting forever. Since it's been warming up I've been silently wishing for one but never thought anything about it. He also picked me some more Sweet Williams. A big bunch of them. It's nice to know there are some men out there who do listen (sometimes anyways). My sister spent time with me, bought me dinner and an ice cream cone, gave me the most hilarious card ever, and is my very bestest friend in the whole wide world. I got lots of texts and comments wishing me happy birthday from the best friends a girl could have. I spent time with almost all of my bestest friends this weekend and had a blast. I'm very blessed and very happy. I look forward to what the next 365 days hold for me and all of those who are close to me. Thanks for a great birthday!

Wednesday, April 9. Sweet Williams are my favorite flowers. After another stressful day, I came home and my dad had picked these for me.

Thursday, April 10. Another crazy day at school. Probably the worst all year, but I came home and relaxed outside and found my serenity by laying in the grass and just looking up. This is what I saw and I love it. I just have something about looking up at tree tops and clouds and the sky. I was totally relaxed.

Friday, April 11. Me and Keri out on my birthday dinner. We went to P.F. Changs with Julie, Stephanie, and Gwen and had a blast! Then we went out to The Big Bang which was lots of fun too. I love those girls. And Christopher who came out later.
Saturday, April 12. I met up with Heidi and Brent for lunch today for a little birthday lunch and to catch up with them and "Peanut." The baby is growing! I'm so excited for them. It almost makes me want a baby one day. Almost.
April 12. We went to Daniel's race Saturday night and he won!!!!! I was so excited. I told him that it was a great birthday present. This is him about to get out of his car after winning.

A weeks worth of pics. Last time I promise

Don't hate me. So I didn't exactly get the pictures up as soon as I said I would. But I'm catching up and will be uploading everyday because it has taken me about 2 hours to get all of these on here. I realized as I was uploading them that I didn't take a picture on Saturday, March 29th, or Thursday and Friday April 3-4. If I had taken a picture for the 29th it would be of a word: FAMILY. You'll understand why. All it did on the 3rd and 4th was rain, so I guess those would have been my pics those days. Enjoy the new ones!

Sunday, March 30th. Turkey season has officially begun and my dad killed a nice one. Of course the dogs love the thrill of the hunt, especially when he brings them back a prize like this one.

Monday, March 31. What a rainy week. I'll be wearing my hair curly most days with the rain. I even wore a new top I have. Everyone loved it. My hair looked good so I thought I would be a little vain and take my picture. Cheese!
Tuesday, April 1. Happy April Fool's Day. My kids want me to get married so bad, so I played a little trick on them. The funny thing was that I told them it was a trick before I ever even showed them my nice fake ring. They totally believed me that I was marrying David Cook from American Idol and that we were moving to Colorado this summer. Unfortunately they were so excited that they started telling everyone and I had the lunch lady congratulating me and their older sisters and their teachers were asking me. It was quite funny.
Wednesday, April 2. I didn't have my camera today but my sis did. She came to visit and her and my dad went for a walk. This is a tree that my dad is wanting to take us to see because it is the biggest tree he has ever seen. I think it is gorgeous. So beautiful to have a single tree that big in the middle of a lush, green field.

Don't let your eyes deceive you. That is a real, true, American Bald Eagle in the great state of Tn, near our house. I can't give away the top secret location but they have a nest and eggs. Be jealous.
Saturday, April 5. We had an OPA Alumnae lunch reunion in Cookeville. It was great to get to see all of my friends and "sisters." And I FINALLY got to meet Mr. Peyton Davis, my "nephew" He is such a sweetie pie. He loved me too. You know I do have magical powers when it comes to babies. My OPA SistersMy BFF Stacy Mac. I miss her bunches, but was so excited to get to see her. I love when you can have friends that you don't see for long stretches of time, but when you get together it seems as though it was just yesterday that we hung out. :)One more of the most adorable kid ever.
Sunday, April 6. It was so gorgeous. I'm really working on getting out more and walking and being healthy. So after I mowed the grass at my Granny's and we had lunch there, my dad and I came home and took the girls for a walk. I love spring, especially now that all of the flowers are starting to come out. I was trying different things with my camera and got this picture along with the next two. I love nature. Oh yeh, I love creeks too, especially when the sun is shining and adding that glittery look to them.
Blue Bells. I just thought this was cool because the wind blew them as I took it so the front flowers look blurry while the back is in focus.

My solace. So beautiful.Monday, April 7. My kids drove me nuts today. My favorite saying is that I'm going to poke my eye out when I just get so frustrated or annoyed with something. Today was definitely an eye poking day. Don't worry I didn't really poke my eye.Tuesday, April 8. Two pictures. I couldn't decide. Today was another eye poking day because my kids were just not wanting to listen. When I got home, Sydni and I went for a walk out the road and I found these beautiful Sweet Williams. They are my favorite and I think God made them especially for me because purple has always been one of my favorite colors and they always bloom around my birthday. I really love this picture because it makes me happy to see a rocking chair on a front porch and all the memories those hold, along with my favorite wildflowers.
Still trying out some different things with the camera. If Sydni had been looking I think I would have liked it even more, but I thought it was cool to have Sydni in her biggness in the forefront and Sophie in all her smallness in the back. And I'm loving the greeness of the grass. That's enough "ness" about things. Good night.
